BF3 Purchasers Will Get Early Mass Effect 3 Demo

BF3 Purchasers Will Get Early Mass Effect 3 Demo

None

Next Tuesday’s Battlefield 3 release can’t come fast enough for many gamers. The excitement is starting to hit dangerous levels, and reports of an unexpected perk make me think that EA might be trying to murder us with enjoyment. It sounds like purchasers of the Battlefield 3 will also be granted access to a multiplayer demo of Mass Effect 3.

Physical copies of the game are starting to creep into gamers’ hands this week, and the packaging contains an insert stating that the purchaser would have “early access to the multiplayer portion of the Mass Effect 3 demo.”

This was later confirmed when the Mass Effect 3 Facebook page and Twitter account both confirmed that BF3 purchasers would have access to the single and multiplayer portions of the game:

“It’s going to be a happy new year! Mass Effect 3 will have a pre-release demo in January 2012. The demo will have both single player and multiplayer sections, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on 3/6/12.”

Details about when players will be able to play the demo haven’t been released yet, but players will eventually be able to find them via BF3’s in-game news ticker.
