These weird live action BioWare teasers are starting to get really weird. Is it a horror game? Is that what you are doing? We just don’t know anymore.
The third trailer was released today. It opens with a girl walking through a field with strong winds blowing through it. Eerie music plays in the background as a bunch of reversed and garbled speech plays. When we get the standard violin sting, the text plays forward and we hear “it’s not my fault.” Then we see the girl looking at a house that is burned to the ground inside a massive crater.
We then see the taglines again. “You’ve been chosen.” “Can you control your power?” Yes, yes, yes, it’s all very mysterious BioWare, we know. But could you at least tell us what the game is about? It is about people with superpowers screwing up everything around them? Is it about weird things coming to life in your dreams? You have us hooked BioWare. WE WANT TO KNOW!
Luckily we won’t have to wait much longer. BioWare has decided that they will show off this new project at GamesCom this year, which kicks off next week. BioWare will be holding a special fan event on August 13 th which will be live streamed on Twitch.TV. Hopefully they will be showing us more about the game then.
