The World of Warcraft Legion expansion release information has been kept under wraps by Blizzard and Activision. After all, that sort of thing is something they’d want to save for BlizzCon 2015, which begins today. Except somebody in the home office must have gotten a little excited, because the official website updated a little early and said the add-on will be released on or around September 21, 2016.
The World of Warcraft Legion website also leaked information on prices and promotions. The standard expansion will be $49.99 and the digital deluxe is $69.99. That extra $20 gets you a Illidari Felstalker mount and a pet named Nibbles, among other things. People who pre-order get a level 100 character boost and early access to the Demon Hunter Hero class.
The information was immediately pulled from the website, but expect to see it again soon, now that BlizzCon has begun.
