Blockbuster Cast Announced For Kingdom Hearts 3D

None

In a recent press release, Square Enix announced their all-star line-up of voice talent for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and a couple interesting plot details were contained within.

Leonard Nimoy is returning to voice Master Xehanort, the main antagonist of the series who we had already seen in trailers. Haley Joel Osment and David Gallagher join the cast again as Sora and Riku, who are both main characters so there are no surprises there. However, the next three voices shake up the plot a bit.

Hayden Panettiere is returning as Xion, the 14th member of Organization XIII who died in the DS game 358/2 Days. Jesse McCartney is coming back as both Roxas and Ventus, the former being re-integrated into Sora at this point and the latter in some sort of darkness-induced coma after merging with Vanitas and being defeated by Aqua.

Finally, Quinton Flynn is coming back as Axel/Lea of Organization XIII, which is odd considering he died in Kingdom Hearts 2. Overall, it looks like there will be many plot twists in this new Kingdom Hearts 3DS game, and we will bring you more details about it when we get to play at E3 this year.
