Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Launches November 4 on Most Platforms

On Thursday, May 1, a reveal trailer for the next installment to the Call of Duty franchise announced Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare , Sledgehammer’s first dip into the series outside its collaboration with Infinity Ward on Modern Warfare 3 .

The trailer detailed that the game is slated to launch on November 4 this year, but didn’t give a clue as to what platforms it’d be launching on. According to VideoGamer , online retailer Amazon.co.uk has not only reaffrimed the title’s launch date, but it has also confirmed that the the game will be launching on most platforms–”most” being because a release on the Wii U was not mentioned–as part of a pre-order promotion.

“Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4, but you can pre-order it now on: Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PC, ” Amazon told VideoGamer.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 copies are both going for £42 each (or your regional equivalent), and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are £54.99 respectively. The PC version comes in as the cheapest of the lot with £39.85. Amazon’s product description of the new Call of Duty game has been detailed below.
