Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth Confirmed

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth Confirmed

None

Last month we informed you about the ratings board listing that revealed that Konami was set to rerelease Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth.

Today, Konami revealed more about the title via a Famitsu magazine exclusive. Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is a complete remake of a 1987 Game Boy entry. While the black and white/dot matrix graphics may have sat well with gamers at the end of the 80s, ReBirth takes the classic gameplay but completely overhauls the visuals.

Additionally, according to IGN’s John Tanaka, “new monsters and newly arranged music” will keep the title fresh. Japan is fortunate enough to get the game on WiiWare before the end of the month (Oct. 27) and it will only cost 1000 Wii Points. Still no word on when the title will hit the rest of the world; expect it before the end of the year with a similar price point.
