Catherine Demo Hits PSN and XBL

Catherine Demo Hits PSN and XBL

None

Atlus’ next game, the fairly bizarre puzzle-platformer Catherine, brings sexy back to Xbox Live and PSN with a brand new demo today. The game puts you in the shoes of 32-year-old Vincent, a man who’s having some relationship issues with his longtime girlfriend Katherine. Things take a turn for the worse when he wakes up next to Catherine, a woman he met at a bar one night, but he can’t remember what they did the previous night.

The puzzles and platforming come into play when Vincent has to fight his way through several nightmarish levels as he makes his way through various obstacles, like mental blocks, so he can figure out what happened that night and hopefully save his relationship with Katherine. Time is always against him, though. As Vincent makes his way to the top level of his consciousness, his mind is crumbling beneath him, so there’s limited time to make it through the various puzzles and obstacles he’ll come across.

If anything, Atlus has proven adept at bringing us unusual experiences, a good example of that would be a game like Demon’s Souls, which was as beautiful as it was unforgiving. Catherine promises an equally as unforgettable experience, and the demo is available now on Xbox Live and PSN with the full game releasing on July 26th.
