CD Projekt RED is doing something big, and they want you to know about it. Not right now, though. Right now is too soon. No, the Polish developer is going to make you wait to hear its “major announcement,” which will be made during a developer’s conference next Wednesday, streamed live from The Witcher’s Facebook page. In addition to the “major announcement,” this conference will also have new information regarding the GOG digital distribution website and the company’s products, which, thus far, are a pair of Witcher games. We already know there’s another Witcher game in the works and, given the story threads left open at the end of the second game, it could definitely be described as “major,” but something tells me that this announcement might instead have something to do with the mysterious job postings found on the company’s website a few weeks back, postings that pointed to an entirely new RPG property and hinted that it might take place in a modern setting.
