Word on amiibo availability for Wave 5 has been coming in for the two debuting at the end of July 2015. The plus side is, you’ll finish off the Kid Icarus series with these. Unfortunately, both are retailer exclusives, and we’ve just learned the Dark Pit amiibo will only be at Best Buy.
The Dark Pit amiibo will be $12.99, as usual. He’ll apparently be in-stores on July 31, 2015. The downside is, the Best Buy website isn’t accepting pre-orders as of yet, so you may have to brave the crowds to get one.
The tragedy is, the Dark Pit amiibo has been separated from Palutena. The two final Kid Icarus characters are both being released in this wave, and both are store exclusives. If you want the complete set of three, you’ll have to stalk Amazon at the end of the month to hopefully get a Palutena amiibo too.
