Sex sells. It’s a known fact, and perhaps a reason why the Dead or Alive series of fighting games and spin-offs will do so well. Now, it seems the latest Dead or Alive Xtreme volleyball spin-off will show some skin to help sell not only the game, but Sony’s virtual reality technology as well. The PlayStation 4 version of the game, known as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune will have PlayStation VR support. The PlayStation Vita version, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus , will not.
Koei Tecmo hasn’t said how the PlayStation VR will work with Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune yet. However, it has announced which characters will appear in the game. After an official fan-vote in Japan , Ayane, Helena, Hitomi, Honoka, Kasumi, Kokoro, Marie Rose, Momiji, and Nyotengu are headed to the beach.
Neither the PS4 or Vita version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 have a US release date. It will come to Japan in spring 2016.
