Deus Ex Go is now live and available to download on your iOS or Android device for $5! Square Enix has poured a lot of heart and soul into its mobile offerings. Previous Go titles, Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go , were critically acclaimed, with the latter winning Apple’s iPhone Game of the Year in 2015. The series makes its anticipated return with Deus Ex Go , the perfect companion game to the imminent Deus Ex: Mankind Divided , which lands on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on August 23.
For those of you not familiar with the Go games, Deus Ex Go is a turn-based puzzle game that takes place a stylized map, which is designed to look similar to a board game. You’ll play as a figurine representation of Adam Jensen and use hacking, combat, and augmentations to solve various puzzles progress through a unique story. You can look forward to over 50 story levels at launch, with more on the way; a new puzzle will be added every weekday.
Deus Ex Go will also tie in to the console game in interesting ways. Apart from the additional story and context provided, solving puzzles in Go can unlock rewards in Mankind Divided . By playing you’ll be able to earn extra Praxis Kits in the console game, as long as you’re signed into your Square Enix account. As if that weren’t enough bang for your five bucks, a puzzle maker will be going live some time soon, which will allow players to generate their own challenging levels to share with friends.
