Detailed in a press release, D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises have announced today a new DLC pack for the videogame adaptation of the inexplicably popular cartoon series Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! .
In Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! , you get to play and journey with multiple characters featured in the cartoon series such as Finn, Jake, Marceline, Ice King and many more. You can play with up to four people as you explore the mysteries surrounding a massive dungeon, known within the universe as the “Secret Royal Dungeon”, in a completely unique storyline staged in the Land of Ooo.
The DLC adds three new characters from the cartoon series to the game: Peppermint Butler, Gunter and King of Mars. The only supposed downside to this is that each character is sold separately. The three characters will cost £1.29 each (or your regional equivalent) on the Xbox 360, but will cost a little bit more on PlayStation 3 and Wii U at £1.59.
No details were given as to why the prices between the 360, PS3 and Wii U are different, but I speculate that it may be due to some exclusive deal with the powers that be on the 360 side of things in order for the DLC pack to sell a bit cheaper. Though, as I’ve said, that’s just speculation. If you fancy dropping some money to gain access to these three new additional characters, then head on over to your respective platform’s store, and have yourself a whale of a time.
