Do you like bacon? Do you like Deathspank? Well now Deathspank and Bacon have been wrapped up together in one new juicy sequel package called Deathspank the Baconing. In case you’ve never heard of it, Deathspank was a third-person top down action game that parodied classic isometric adventure games such as Diablo and Baldur’s Gate. It put you in control of the titular Deathspank, making you complete tedious but hilarious quests in a world filled with fantasy gaming stereotypes.  The Baconing is more of this fantasy genre humor packaged with even more content. Deathspank will face his most dangerous foe yet, the Anti-Spank, as he tries to locate the mythical Fires of Bacon. Along the way you will topple four new and only slightly imposing bosses, team up with Bob from Marketing, unlock a new level of difficulty, and even travel to the mysterious Forbidden Zone, which really isn’t anywhere near as forbidden as was previously advertised. You also gain some new abilities, like the shield bash, charge attack, and other things that Zelda probably did first. It’s everything you could possibly want from an adventure RPG, except this time it has fart jokes. 100 new quests, 70 new characters, 80 new weapons, and much more will be coming to The Baconing whenever Hothead decides they want to release it. |
