Doom 3 never really got its fair chance in the spotlight—probably because the spotlight couldn’t shine if you were holding a gun. Developer id Software and publisher Bethesda are looking to give the game a second chance with the upcoming Doom 3 BFG Edition which, most importantly, allows you to use an armor-mounted flashlight. Besides this much-requested feature, the new edition will include enhanced graphics, the full Resurrection of Evil expansion, and seven brand new levels. The new edition also supports 5.1 surround sound, a brand new checkpoint system, a host of tweaked controls, and more.
