Dying Light will soon be receiving a brand new free expansion which will include a hard mode, for people who weren’t terrified enough of the undead. The new mode will make zombies more aggressive at night, and will make them more dangerous in general. In addition, resources and supplies will be even more scarce. Finally, sound will become much more important, with the slightest noise summoning hordes of undead.
“A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we’re going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that,” producer Tymon Smektala said. “We’re aiming to have it out around the start of March, if not sooner. Depends on how brutal we wanna make this on people.”
