E3 2016: No Elder Scrolls VI for a While, Bethesda Says

E3 2016: No Elder Scrolls VI for a While, Bethesda Says

Any Elder Scrolls fans who were hoping for a glimpse at the next major installment at Bethesda’s conference last night were disappointed. Beyond The Elder Scrolls Online , there were no hints of the venerable fantasy series on stage.

Today we learned that the news for eater Elder Scrolls ers is even worse than we might have thought. Currently the main Bethesda studio is still busy with Fallout 4 add-ons, but at E3 today Todd Howard confirmed that it has at least two major projects on the way before The Elder Scrolls VI .

What will those projects be?  Well, it’s unlikely we’ll get another Fallout in the near future, so it’s a mystery!  Too bad we didn’t get any hints of what the studio is working on next at its press conference. We could have used a few more surprises last night. Ah, well, we’ll have to make do with Skyrim Special Edition for now.
