This is also how you upgrade important assets on your farm, in addition to getting more coops and vehicles. You can also use a currency called shells to change the appearance of your farm.
- Earn golden eggs: Golden eggs are the key currency of the game, and the primary focus for many players. Golden eggs allow you to complete very important actions, like unlocking special, permanent lab research. This research offers upgrades that stick with your account no matter what you do. You can get golden eggs through normal playing, but they also fuel microtransactions.
- Catch drones: It sounds weird, but sometimes drones fly over the screen for special deliveries. Click on them to drop the drone and get special payments or money or eggs. It’s a reason to keep paying attention to the game.

Pay for a Subscription
If you don’t mind spending some money, one of the easiest ways to get ahead without potentially breaking your game is a subscription. The subscription is called Ultra and comes in a couple of different varieties, one for $4 per month and one for $8 per month.
Ultra gives you some serious boosts. You get a “Leggacy” Egg of Prophecy, one each week, to boost your earnings. You also receive 25% more Golden Eggs from sources like Piggy Breaks. And for group play, you can host a wider variety of co-ops and participate in special events. The second tier does all this, but also removes ads.
Utilize the Daily Gift Calendar
The calendar is a very basic system of rewards that gets you some valuable stuff for free. Sounds great, right? You receive Golden Eggs, Epic Research progress, bocks, and more…the reward occasionally rotate over time.
This is the game’s way of keeping players checking in frequently. To take advantage of these easy gifts, you just have to log in to the app once a day and claim your prize. That’s it.
Watch Some Advertisements
Egg, Inc., like many mobile apps, also gives you stuff if you’re willing to watch a few ads. Granted, this interrupts your gameplay, but it also gives you an edge, especially when you’re first beginning. We recommend new players watch at least a few ads as they grow their first farms. First, open the app and make sure it’s running. Then go to your device calendar/clock settings, and set the time way back, like around 10 years or so. Now go back to Egg, Inc. The app will know what you’re trying to do, and give you a message likeL “Cheating detected,” then put you in timeout for an hour. That’s fine.
Go back to your time settings, and set your clock forward again. Don’t go all the way to the real present, just several days forward. Go back into the game app and let it go on for a few minutes. This should satisfy the game app’s cheat detection. Now head to the device clock for a third time, and set it to the present day. Open the app once again, and you should get about 10 years’ worth of earnings all at once.
Keep in mind, glitches like this don’t always work, and there’s a chance they’re patched. This glitch used to be much easier, for example, and it may not always work in the future. However, it still seems effective for now.
Use the Prestige Glitch
There’s another glitch that often works for players as well, involving how you prestige your farm. Ordinarily, this starts you over with leveled-up eggs and your permanent bonuses. However, if you act quickly, you may be able to fool the app to have your cake and eat it too.
To start, just go to the prestige option once it’s available for your farm, and chose it. Select “yes” to prestige, then double-tap your home button right away. Afterward, immediately close the app completely. Then open it again. If you’re quick, the game should be confused about whether you prestige or not. You’ll prestige, but also keep your farm growth so you won’t need to build everything up again.
