Elder Scrolls: Legends Enters Open Beta

Elder Scrolls: Legends Enters Open Beta

Everyone wants a piece of the Hearthstone pie, it seems. Both Flaming Fowl (former Lionshead) and Bethesda have their own CCGs in the works – Fable Fortune and Elder Scrolls: Legends , respectively – and I have to say as a CCG fan that Legends is looking like the more appealing choice at the moment. This is due mainly to its two-lane gameplay that allows you to stack and synergize your cards in two separate lanes on the main playing field. Cards can only damage enemy cards in the lane directly across from them, but actions (spells) and power-ups can cross lanes. This will make for some fascinating combos and strategies once the competitive scene ramps up.

If you love a good card game and are eager to start practicing, you’ll be pleased to know that Elder Scrolls: Legends has entered open beta on PC. As with Fallout Shelter , you’ll need Bethesda’s proprietary launcher ( found here ) in order to download and play the game, but hey, it’s free. Like Hearthstone , when the game officially launches it will be free-to-play with in-game purchases for those wanting to collect cards a bit faster. Give it a shot! Maybe I’ll see you online.
