In a recent press release, Nexon announced that they will be bringing CCP’s award winning MMO, EVE Online, to Japan. The game will be fully localized for native Japanese speakers, but the game world will be a global affair. Any Japanese gamers will still be able to play alongside any other gamer anywhere else in the world. CCP will still retain creative rights to the game. They will continue the development of the game itself and will handle any gameplay-related customer support. Nexon, on the other hand, will manage all of EVE Japan’s billing needs, local marketing, and PR services.
The Japanese version of EVE Online will be available on March 28th 2012. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
