Here’s the thing about major releases. Even if a game isn’t available or ready yet, that isn’t going to stop a developer from doing something like hyping up add-ons. Take Fallout 4, for example. The game isn’t going to be released until November, but Bethesda is already talking about the Season Pass.
The Fallout 4 Season Pass for DLC will be $29.99. Even though the developer has no idea what sort of add-on content will be created and released for the game, it’s saying the extras will be worth $39.99. At least the company confirmed that there will also be free updates that add new things as well.
Bethesda has started talking about Fallout 4 mod support as well. A creation kit will be released in 2016, to help people start making their own mods for the PC version of the game. This is important, as those mods will also be able to carry over to the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
Fallout 4 should be out on November 10 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
