GameStop Now Offering Cellphone Plans

GameStop Now Offering Cellphone Plans

Is your cell phone’s data plan driving you crazy? Are you always going over your limit on your minutes and downloads? Upset that your original unlimited data plan is no longer offered by your carrier? Well, GameStop might be your solution.

Yes GameStop, the company known for being one of the only pure video game store franchises in existence, is becoming less pure. They’ve recently partnered with NET10 and are now offering unlimited talk, text, and most importantly, data plans. These plans don’t actually need to be used with GameStops phones. Instead, you can purchase a SIM card at any GameStop retailer and place it into any GSM enabled device. However, if you do want to purchase a smartphone at GameStop, some of their phones are as cheap as $50. They also offer numerous recognized brands, such as the iPhone, several droids, and tablets as well.

In other news, GameStop is looking to bring back classic gaming as well. The company has allegedly begun acquiring “vintage games” to sell. Looking to pick up an obscure title for your SNES? GameStop may just be the place to go.
