It appears that Isaiah Mustafa, who you would probably recognize as “the Old Spice Guy,” is expanding his horizons. Mustafa has purportedly signed on to play a COG Gear in the upcoming Gears of War 3. Mustafa joins a star-studded cast of voiced actors including John DiMaggio (Bender from Futurama), Ice T (the badass from Law and Order: SVU), and Claudia Black (Angelique from Rango). His role hasn’t been very well defined at this point, but he’ll probably be wearing a shirt, which is disappointing. Cliff Bleszinski, the design director for Gears, said, “The cast just keeps getting sexier and sexier.” I think we can all agree with that. 
Gears of War 3 is due out in September. |
