According to Eurogamer, Karen Traviss will not be penning the script for Gears of War: Judgment. Instead, script writing duties will be taken over by Tom Bissel and Bill Auten. Bissel previously authored the Gears of War 3 art book and is currently co-authoring a book about the Tommy Wiseau film, The Room . He is also well known for writing Extra Lives: Why Video Games Matter . Auten has previsouly worked with Twentieth Century Fox as a consult and has also worked on James Cameron’s Avatar and two Aliens -themed games.
