A new Ghostbusters movie is in development, with an all female cast. Lego Dimensions has a Ghostbusters stage and characters. We even saw a Ghostbusters: Puzzle Fighter mobile game last year. It only makes sense that a new major game is in the works, and Retail Merchandiser says one is.
Activision hasn’t confirmed or denied anything yet, but Retail Merchandiser says it will be a full game. It also states the Ghostbusters title will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It certainly would make sense, though. Activision has been making Ghostbusters video games since 1984. This would be the company’s fourth Ghostbusters game.
The new Ghostbusters movie, with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, will be released July 15.
