GoldeEye Reloaded Confirmed

GoldeEye Reloaded Confirmed

None

A while back, Activision registered domain named having to do with the title GoldenEye Reloaded, and we speculated that GoldenEye for the Wii would be coming to the HD consoles at some point.

We were right.

The game will run at 60 frames per second, will introduce new levels that the Wii version didn’t have, will introduce an expanded online mode with new maps, weapons, characters, and more, and will finally fix the problems the Wii version had with four-player split-screen. The online mode in GoldenEye Reloaded will support sixteen-player games, double what the Wii was able to support. Add to this the HD facelift the game will be getting, and perhaps GoldenEye will survive longer on HD consoles than it did on the Wii. After all, that is where FPS junkies go to get their kicks.

GoldenEye Reloaded will release this fall, and it’s up against some pretty heavy competition. Can GoldenEye survive in a world filled with Call of Duty and Gears of War? Bond will find a way.
