New Bond Game Announced

New Bond Game Announced

None

In a press release today, Activision announced the next James Bond game, 007 Legends. The game will be made for HD consoles and will feature a storyline that ties together multiple classic Bond films ending with the brand new Skyfall . Activision has not yet announced which films will be included in the game, but any film from Bond’s impressive 50 year run is a candidate.

The game seems to be a spiritual successor to the recently released GoldenEye reboots, containing several modes from GoldenEye, including the Mi6 Ops missions. However, this time you will be able to play as Bond villains as well. Multiplayer will be included, in both an online suite and local split-screen. The split-screen multiplayer of GoldenEye was one of the most criticized aspects of the game, so hopefully 007 Legends will get it right this time.

The game is being developed by Eurocom and will be available this fall. A concrete release date was not given. We will bring you more information on 007 Legends as it becomes available.
