The oft-delayed Gran Turismo 5 has definitely earned a reputation of never meeting release targets, and ever since its latest delay last month, the TBA 2010 window has been hanging over fans’ heads. However, according to Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi, the release might be sooner than we think. In an interview yesterday with racing blog Jalopnik, Yamauchi stated that the discs were being printed as they spoke and the game was ready to ship. If this is truly the case, one wonders why they still have yet to formally announce a date. Either there is some corporate tomfoolery afoot or Polyphony Digital is seriously holding out on us.  |
