Gran Turismo 5 has only been out for a month, but the game received its first major update yesterday. Weighing it at a hefty 600 MB, the patch may be tough on your hard drive, but it adds plenty of new features and bug fixes. Once you’ve downloaded the patch, you’ll notice that menus are a lot faster, and some of the cars that didn’t feature underside detailing now do (as well as an Easter-egg type message for those who have been paying attention). In addition to technical improvements, the update also offers a new mode for seasonal online challenges, support for rewards and experience in regular online matches, and a new “Hot Car” used car dealership.  This update is available now and will download immediately the next time you start the game. |
