By now just about every member of the gaming community is aware of the wave of hackers plaguing the PS3. The issue has grown to concern gamers and developers, and Guerrilla is now joining in the fight to stop the reign of hackers.  With the release of Killzone 3, Guerrilla is serious about providing a fair and enjoyable experience for gamers who shelled out their hard-earned money to pick up a copy. They are working closely with Sony on the moderation side of online play. They realize that they know their game better than anyone else and are best equipped to spot issues and vulnerabilities that hackers might exploit. They plan to keep an eye on the code, releasing patches as needed to try to stay one step ahead of the hackers. Whether they will be successful remains to be seen, but you have to admire their commitment to providing their consumers with a positive gaming experience. |
