Microsoft and 343 Industries have revealed details for Halo 4’s soundtrack.
The standard edition Halo 4’s soundtrack will feature 15 tracks and will retail for $13.98 in both a physical and digital capacity.
The Special Edition 2-Disc Box Set ($75), meanwhile, features the standard soundtrack, a 14-track remix album, composition notes from Neil Davidge, as well as behind-the-scenes photos and exclusive artwork images.
A behind-the-scenes “Making of Halo 4 Music” DVD is also included, as is a hardcover book. In addition, the special edition comes equipped with a 12-inch art print signed by Davidge, a vinyl record which features both Cortana and Master Chief on the disk, and finally an exclusive shirt for one’s Xbox LIVE avatar.
“It was an honor to compose and produce the ‘Halo 4’ score,” said Davidge. “I am so proud of the way the OST has turned out and to have had the opportunity to evolve the great legacy of ‘Halo’ music. To be able to then collaborate with these talented DJ’s and musicians on various remixes was a real bonus as it is always fun and interesting to see how others interpret and reimagine what you have created.”
Halo 4 launches worldwide on November 6 th , 2012.
