Halo Reach to Use Natal Technology?

Halo Reach to Use Natal Technology?

None

While the meat of the Seattle Times Halo 3: ODST article written by columnist Brier Dudley had nothing of consequence for core gamers such as CheatCC readers, one nugget of information was substantial and fresh:

Halo Reach may in fact use Project Natal technology; Microsoft’s recently revealed motion capturing controls. No details were given on how the technology would be implemented, however, it was confirmed that Bungie is excited about the prospect for the technology and that it has received dev kits.

Here’s what Bungie president Harold Ryan had to say, as featured in Dudley’s report:

“Bungie also received an early look at the “Project Natal” motion-sensing controller Microsoft is developing for the Xbox. Studio President Harold Ryan said he’s enthusiastic about the device and it could be used in “Reach,” another version of “Halo” expected in the fall of 2010. “I absolutely think ‘Reach’ could be enabled with it,” he said.”
