HBO Go Is On Its Way To Consoles

None

If Netflix, Hulu Plus, and ESPN aren’t enough to satiate your bottomless appetite for entertainment on your gaming console, fear not, as HBO Go is also headed to consoles. In an earnings call earlier today, HBO CEO Jeff Bewkes confirmed the service would be headed to connected TVs and gaming consoles, bringing us full series from HBO’s incredible lineup. This means you’ll be able to watch every episode in some of the best television series available, like the ongoing Game of Thrones and True Blood, as well as older series like The Sopranos and Six Feet Under.

The HBO Go service was launched in early 2010with a library that’s been expanding ever since. It now includes every episode in every HBO original series.

There’s no official word yet on when the service will be making its move to gaming consoles or what it’ll cost you, but since the service is free to HBO subscribers on other platforms, there’s a good chance gamers will be getting similar treatment.
