Hearthstone Gets a Cooperative Boss Fight

Hearthstone Gets a Cooperative Boss Fight

Hearthstone has traditionally been a competitive affair. You get stones, fight friends or strangers, and rejoice in every triumph. However, there’s a new Tavern Brawl event that drastically changes how the game is played. This week’s Unite Against Mechazod battle requires you to work with a friend to bring the boss down.

Here’s how the Unite Against Mechazod Tavern Brawl works. Each person is given a pre-made Hearthstone deck. One round, Mechazod will be on your side of the board. The next, he’ll move to your ally’s. The two of you have to coordinate attacks and support efforts to bring the baddie down.

You’ll want to attempt the Unite Against Mechazod battle at least once. If you team up with a random stranger, you’ll get a Tavern Brawl Hearthstone pack as a reward. That’s doled out whether you win or lose, so it’s absolutely worth your time.
