Nintendo swore that Smash Bros. wouldn’t be the only game that supporters their new Amiibo NFC figurines, and they are delivering on that promise. While they originally just listed a bunch of Mario games, like Mario Kart, they recently announced that Hyrule Warriors will soon be getting Amiibo support as well. This makes Hyrule Warriors one of the first non- Mario , non- Smash games to support the figurines.
Unfortunately, Nintendo didn’t say how the game would be compatible with the figure. We are assuming it’s something simple, like being able to take your characters with their leveled up weapons over to a friend’s house or something. Nintendo says that they will be providing more info about Amiibo compatibility in Hyrule Warriors shortly.
