While Crackdown 2 didn’t seem to catch on as well as the original, Microsoft and Ruffian are still planning to support it. Today they announced a new DLC pack for the game that will provide more content for those looking to squeeze some extra enjoyment out of the title. The Toy Box, as it is called, will be giving all players some free additional content, with the option to pay 560 Microsoft Points to unlock the DLC’s premium content.
The free content will consist of a Keys to the City mode, a level six skill reward, and a Vehicle Tag multiplayer mode. As players of the first game will recall, Keys to the City will allow players to use cheats such as god mode, unlimited ammo, and even freeze the time of day. Even so, the level six skill reward is potentially more interesting, giving players a Thruster Ability once their agent is fully leveled up, which creates the possibility of flight when combined with the Wingsuit. The premium content in the Toy Box consists of two new vehicles, five new items, eight new agent suit colors, two new avatar awards, and ten new achievements totaling to 250 Gamerscore. No official release date has been given for this DLC.
