Injustice 2 Gameplay Premiers This Saturday

Injustice 2 Gameplay Premiers This Saturday

Injustice 2 , the sequel to the enormously popular (albeit somewhat shallow) super-hero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us , has finally been revealed. NetherRealm gave us a pretty cinematic reveal trailer, and by most counts it was solid. We got to see Batman duke it out with The Flash right before getting harpooned by Aquaman (I seriously laughed out loud), we saw Superman decked out in some high-tech armor, and we even caught a glimpse of Supergirl! So what’s the big fuss about? Well, it was cinematic, CG trailer for a fighting game – with absolutely no gameplay footage. Anyone can make a cool looking trailer, but is NetherRealm actually working on a cool looking fighting game? That’s what we want to know.

Thankfully we are due for a glimpse of gameplay very soon. YouTuber “Level Up Your Game” confirmed in a new video (via WCCF Tech ) that the first gameplay footage for Injustice 2 would be streamed during the ESL Pro League Finals this Saturday, June 11. We have no reason not to trust this dude, but I should point out that he prefaces his confirmation with the words, “…I just got an email that says…” Keep your eyes peeled, and we will too. Injustice 2 comes out next year for the PS4 and Xbox One.
