In a recent interview with IGN, Patrick Soderlund of the Battlefield 3 team talked about the game’s post launch plans. He said that the launch was only the starting point. Here are his words: “We look at this as a long-term service, where we want the consumers to continually get updates and new content and hopefully improvements to the product as we go.” So the Battlefield team isn’t “letting their foot off the gas,” so to speak.
As long as EA and DICE work on giving customers more of that, Soderlund is confident that gamers will stay loyal to the Battlefield name, and not switch over to Call of Duty this holiday season. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
