The shadowy figure in previews for the upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd –REVELATOR- has finally been revealed. It is a brand new character called Jack O, who will be joining the cast alongside Johnny. Jack-O appears o have a metal ball and chain attached to her ankle, which has a face shaped like a Jack-O Lantern. In a screenshot, however, she is seen using energy constructs labeled with the punch and kick buttons, so she may be a shadow character like Zato-1.
Jack-O’s story is that she is the third servant of That Man and specializes in comic relief style attacks. Perhaps she will be the Dan Hibiki of this game.
Not only that, but Guilty Gear will be adding even more systems to the game, to compound on the complexity of the original release. Now there is something called a Power Blow which can be done after a successful Blitz Shield. How you do it or what it does is still yet to be seen.
