Do you tire of wandering the wilds of Skyrim on foot? Have you given up on horseback riding because getting on and off your horse for combat is more work than it’s worth? Well, oh troubled wanderer, Bethesda heard your agonized cries and has officially addressed them. The Bethesda Blog today revealed the features we can expect from Skyrim’s 1.6 patch. Along with the usual laundry list of bug fixes, we were told “Skyrim now allows you to do melee and ranged combat while riding a horse.”
For PS3 and Xbox 360 owners, as well as PC users who aren’t enrolled in the beta program, the patch is coming, but it’s not here quite yet. So hold your horses. Ugh, I can’t believe I just said that. The blog post also told us to keep our eyes and ears peeled for some more info on the upcoming Dawnguard DLC. Oh, we will, Bethesda. We most certainly will. By Josh Wirtanen |
