Skyrim Is About To Get Another Patch

Skyrim Is About To Get Another Patch

None

Bethesda is gearing up to release another round of fixes for our favorite bug-filled dragon game: Skyrim. According to the patch notes, v1.4, which will hopefully hit the net next week, should address many of the performance issues that have been irritating gamers since the title launched in November.

The developer also laid out their plans for future patch releases in a recent blog: “Our current update plan for the PC is to first release our updates as ‘beta’ versions through Steam,” the blog reads. “This is something you’ll be able to opt into through Steam and back-out of if needed. This is an extra safety check for everyone going forward and should expedite and improve our updating process for our PC users. We’ll have more info soon on how this will work.”

This new approach should ensure fewer backward-flying dragons , we hope.

The blog also reassures gamers of Bethesda’s commitment to supporting Skyrim through future patches. “You have all supported Skyrim in a huge way,” it reads, “and we’ll be supporting all of you, and continue to make the game better.”
