The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PC, and More

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Cheats & Cheat Codes for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PC, and More

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a DLC chapter that expands the existing Elder Scrolls Online game. The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Tamriel. It allows players to explore various regions, complete quests, interact with non-player characters, and collaborate or compete with other players from around the globe.

Released in 2017, this chapter known as Morrowind allows players to explore Vvardenfell and the surrounding area. The setting is familiar from earlier titles in the Elder Scrolls series, especially the 2002 title The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The DLC offers a range of new features including a new player class, extensive main story content, and a unique PvP mode. Here we’ll take a look that the game itself and what types of cheats and tips are available for the player.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Premise

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind transports players back to the iconic island of Vvardenfell, which is located in the province of Morrowind. This setting is familiar from the classic title released over 20 years ago, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The expansion’s new area is complete with its unique geography and flushed with points of interest from towns to dungeons. You can find everything from the ashy docks of Seyda Neen to the mushroom forests and the expansive Vivec City with an exciting main questline. While the expansion undoubtedly pays homage to the classic it also adds its own elements improving the legendary lands. The main questline revolves around aiding Vivec, a legendary warrior-poet, in regaining his lost powers, offering more than 30 hours of main story adventures.

Players can explore the new lands within Tamriel with other players.

The chapter is notable for its inclusion of the Warden, a new player class that uses nature-based magic. This class also introduces the War Bear, a new combat ally. Besides this, the DLC features a new three-team PvP mode called Battlegrounds, where a total of 12 players compete against each other. Players battle in arena-like settings, which provide a nice contrast from the open-world content in the base ESO game. There’s also a new Trial added, called the Halls of Fabrication, which challenges 12-player parties in new ways. Naturally, with a completely new area, there are also tons of new NPCs, equipment, and more to explore.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Characters

The Morrowind chapter introduces new and returning characters that add to the existing, and already immensely comprehensive, lore of The Elder Scrolls Online. Players interact with dozens upon dozens of characters in their journeys from key NPCs involved in the main questline to random encounters in the towns across the lands. We’ve collected here some of the more important personas players come across on their journey through Vvardenfell and Morrowind.

Key Characters

  • The Vestige: The player character, who’s on a journey to save Vvardenfell from various threats. Like in previous iterations of Elder Scrolls Online, the Vestige has the fate of the land and its inhabitants in his hands. Now, he’s trying to solve the mystery surrounding Vivec’s weakening power.
  • Vivec: As one of the Tribunal gods, Vivec is crucial to the spiritual and political life of Vvardenfell. However, he is afflicted by a mysterious illness that not only saps his divine strength but is also weakening the protective barriers around the Red Mountain.
  • Barbas: This shape-shifting Daedric servant of Clavicus Vile appears in various forms and has motives that are not entirely clear to the Vestige immediately. His actions and information become important as the Vestige delves deeper into what’s wrong with Vivec and Vvardenfell more broadly.
  • Archcanon Tarvus: Archcanon Tarvus is the chief religious and administrative aide to Vivec. With Vivec being ill, Tarvus has exceptional power in his hands. He is the one who asks for the help of the Vestige in investigating the issues affecting Vivec and Vvardenfell. He provides guidance, resources, and information.
  • Sun-in-Shadow: Sun-in-Shadow is an Argonian slave in the region of Telvanni. She appears in a side quest in the expansion, where she seeks freedom and ascension in the community. The Vestige’s quest is to help her rise in the ranks of the House of Telvanni.
  • Clavicus Vile: Clavicus Vile is a Daedric Prince whose workings are felt all around Vvanderfell. He’s known for entering into pacts with mortals, and no wonder his plane of Oblivion is known as The Fields of Regret. He becomes increasingly significant as the main quest unfolds and it is ultimately revealed that he’s behind the weakening of Vivec and what is happening at Red Mountain.
Players control the Vestige, who is on a quest to save the world.

Games in the Series

The Elder Scrolls series, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, offers a deep dive into expansive fantasy worlds. Players can explore everything from the snowy regions of Skyrim to the complex politics of Cyrodiil. With a mix of main quests and side adventures, the games provide endless opportunities for exploration and combat. Each title in the series adds a new layer to the rich lore of the Elder Scrolls universe, making it a must-play for fans of role-playing games.

The Elder Scrolls Online is the latest venture where the entire world is included in one, evolving massively multiplayer role-playing experience. Morrowind is the first expansion to the MMORPG and expands the world of Tarmiel with the province of Morrowind, most importantly including the island of Vvardenfell. The expansion holds the same name as the third game in the main line of the franchise, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Cheats

As The Elder Scrolls Online is a multiplayer game, it doesn’t offer cheats of any kind. This is because it would unlevel the playing field. However, the game does support a range of console commands that can help with the gameplay.
