As revealed in a press release published on Wednesday, July 2, Square Enix has unveiled an interactive comparison video of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix that switches between standard definition and high definition versions of the game.
Basically comparing the originals to the remastered, the trailer shows of the fully upgraded graphics of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix , both of which feature in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix.
By interacting with the “HD”, “Compare” or “SD” annotations at the top of the video, you can compare the original games’ graphics on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable to the games’ remastered HD graphics. Also featured in the comparison tailer are the graphical enhancements, Final Mix color palettes and new costumes that’ll be available in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix .
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix will include remastered versions of Kingdom Hearts II , Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded in one package: Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix , Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (with HD remastered cinematics).
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix is slated to release on Tuesday, December 2 in North America and on Friday, December 5 in Europe exclusively for PlayStation 3 .
