When it was first released not too long ago, Hitman Go really captivated me. I couldn’t get over how elegant it looked and played, and how it was really evocative of the retro automated board games from decades ago. Square is continuing the Go series with the upcoming release of Lara Croft Go .
The Go series aims to capture the core tentpoles of each gaming franchise, and boil them down to gameplay that can be replicated on phones and tablets via a virtual board game. It’s really something to see and play in person. Fingers crossed Square can keep up the amazing streak when Lara Croft Go is released in the near future.
