Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Getting The Sacrifice

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Getting The Sacrifice

None

Anyone who is a big Left 4 Dead fan probably already knows what the title of Valve’s new L4D DLC, The Sacrifice, is referring to. For everyone else, a few months ago Left 4 Dead 2 got a new campaign in the form of The Passing. This DLC saw most of the survivors from the first game meeting up with the crew from the sequel. However, the big shocker was that not everyone from the original cast was still alive, which left questions as to how this occurred. Valve will be answering these questions in their upcoming DLC campaign, The Sacrifice.

Announced on GameTrailers TV (via 1Up), The Sacrifice will be the first DLC meant for both the original L4D as well as L4D2. Players will take on the roles of the original survivors, continuing to fight their way through the zombie apocalypse. While the canonical ending of this campaign is set in stone, players will get to choose which character winds up dying at the end. In some slightly less depressing news, those who play The Sacrifice in Left 4 Dead 2 will also be getting a redone version of the No Mercy campaign from the first game. Just like the previous L4D DLC, you can expect it to be free on the PC and Mac but to come with a price tag for Xbox 360 owners.
