LittleBigPlanet Karting Gets Release Date

LittleBigPlanet Karting Gets Release Date

None

LBP fans who weren’t lucky enough to get into the beta for LittleBigPlanet Karting won’t have to wait very long to get in on the action.

According to Sony and Media Molecule, the game will release on Tuesday, November 6th in North America. The game will come with built-in tracks made by the game designers themselves, and if it takes hints from previous LBP releases, we will probably be able to play some of the best tracks that came out of the beta as well.

To commemorate the release date announcement, a new trailer was released that was themed after the summer Olympics. It didn’t show anything we haven’t seen before, but it’s neat to watch anyway.

In addition, the LittleBigPlanet team recently announced that the seven millionth level was published to the LBP servers. Apparently, LBP averages 5377 level uploads per day. Bear in mind that LBP first came out in 2008, and first reached one million levels in 2009. It’s only been a few short years since then, and the game has grown exponentially. One has to wonder what the LBP servers will look like once LBP Karting is out. We will just have to wait and see.
