Even though the game premiered with a very complete build at E3, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North has not had a confirmed release date until now. According to a recent press release by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Snowblind Studios, The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will be launching in North America on November 1st, 2011. The game will come out for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC using the Games for Windows platform.



The press release also announced a Collector’s Edition of the game, featuring behind-the-scenes looks at the game development process, an art book, exclusive DLC, and more. The Collector’s Edition will launch the same day, though it’s pricing has not yet been revealed.
