Earlier today, Mad Catz confirmed on its official website that it is teaming up with Harmonix to co-publish Rock Band 4 . The extension of this lucrative agreement includes Mad Catz’ involvement in leading global sales campaigns, promotions, and creating and distributing exclusive hardware for the game on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
Rock Band 4 was announced last month after rumors suggested that this game and a new Guitar Hero were both in development. As an added bonus, Harmonix also revealed that old peripherals from previous entries in the series would be compatible with Rock Band 4 .
I personally think that this partnership makes sense and both sides have a lot to gain from this venture. We can expect to hear more about Rock Band 4 before or during E3 2015.
