What a fine day it is today. People with HTC Vive headsets are going to get to try something special. Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine is available today. It’s not exactly a game or movie, but more an opportunity to feel like you’re actually a Jedi making good use of the Force.
In Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine, players are given a lightsaber and tasked with taking care of iconic characters. Luke Skywalker specifically tasks you with aiding the Jedi Order. You’re not a master, but do get to be a Padawan protecting characters like R2-D2. It’s an opportunity to experience life in the Star Wars world.
Also, Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine is free. So even though it might not be the exact Star Wars VR experience you’d want, you don’t lose anything except some of your time when giving it a try. If you love the series, you may as well give it a go and see what it has to offer. At the very least, you might get some idea of where Star Wars could go next.
