If you’re a Wii U owner, there isn’t too much to get excited about for the remainder of the year, unfortunately. Yoshi’s Wooly World and Super Mario Maker were high on my most-wanted list, and now they’re in my library. With Star Fox Zero’s untimely delay, the only big titles we have coming our way for the holiday season are Xenoblade Chronicles X and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash.
No one really knew about Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash before Nintendo showed off a trailer during its E3 stream, and the reception was underwhelming. I was eager to see more of the game, but Nintendo hasn’t released any new footage until now. With less than a month until its release, I can’t say that Ultra Smash looks like anything close to a must-buy, but I’ll be paying attention to the reviews. You can check out the trailer below:
