Over on PushSquare, a rumor that Mass Effect 2 is coming to PS3 has started that may just be backed by source-code. According to the report, cracked PC source-code seems to point to the existence of a PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. While I’d like to think this rumor is real, I’ve got some real doubts. Mass Effect 2 without access to Mass Effect is not ideal. Some have speculated that Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 could get bundled into one Blu-ray disc, while this would certainly be a great seller, Microsoft will never allow the first entry in the series to hit the Sony console, as Microsoft Game Studios published it. That being said, we’ve gone ahead and included the code for your own perusing and personal judgment of validity – after all, we’ve got no idea about code, just about delivering headshots after pulling a Krogan from behind cover.
